1. Information We Collect

• Account Information:
  When you join, we collect your email address and a chosen pseudonym (username).
• Financial & Age Verification Data:
  To verify that all users are 18 or older, we require a successful credit card authorization during checkout. Skyclad does not store or process raw credit card data on its own servers. All financial transactions and payment data are securely vaulted and processed directly by our compliant payment gateway, SegPay.
• Platform Usage Data:
  To power your personal subscriber dashboard, we store data regarding your digital collection, including your current credit balance, your pinned ‘Applaud’ and ‘Love’ reactions, and your saved preferences (such as your favourite model or shoot requests).
• Model & Creator Data:
  For models who collaborate with Skyclad, we collect government-issued photographic identification and signed contracts to comply with international regulations (including 18 U.S.C. § 2257).

2. How We Use Your Data

• Service Delivery:
  To securely deliver your digital photo sets, manage your recurring credit balance, and maintain your personal Clan Vault collection.
• Age Verification:
  A successful financial transaction serves as our primary proof of age, fulfilling our legal requirements without resorting to invasive, third-party biometric ID or facial scanning systems.
• Platform Gamification:
  To calculate anonymous, community-wide statistics such as “Clan Ranks” for models, driven by user ‘Loves’ and ‘Applauds’.
• Communication:
  To send you account notices, password resets, and later may be used for occasional platform updates (only if you have opted in).

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

• Payment Processors:
  Your payment information is handled exclusively by our secure payment provider (SegPay) to authorise transactions and verify age. We don’t see it.
• Legal Compliance:
  Model identification and legal documentation are stored in secure, encrypted cloud folders with restricted access. This data is only shared with hosting platforms or regulatory authorities when required for compliance verification or by lawful request.

4. Anonymity & Public Display

• Customer Anonymity:
  User profiles utilize pseudonyms. Your real name, email, billing information, and specific purchase history are strictly hidden from the public unless you intentionally display it, eg: using your real name as your username when you comment or leave product reviews.
• Model Anonymity:
  Sensitive identity information (such as a model’s legal surname) is never published without explicit permission.

5. Cookies & Tracking

• Essential Cookies:
  We use cookies to keep you logged into your account, secure your session, and manage your WooCommerce shopping cart.
• Analytics Cookies:
  We may use basic, anonymized analytics to understand how our website is used and to improve the user experience. We do not use invasive tracking pixels to target you with third-party advertising.
